Before the Fair

The fair takes place exclusively in person.

You can register for as many workshops as you like, as long as there are still available spots.

The fair takes place on May 21, 2025, between 10 AM and 5 PM. You can arrive and leave at any time during this period.

No, entry to CONTACT is free of charge.

No registration is required to visit the job fair. However, we do offer some additional services for which you must register free of charge*.

*The photographer only charges a fee for the application photos.

Paid parking spaces are available on the Campus Im Neuenheimer Feld. However, due to limited parking, we recommend using public transportation.

The fair is aimed at a broad spectrum of young scientists and professionals from various disciplines, including:

It is particularly intended for individuals with the following qualifications:

  • Technical professionals

You can register for one of our two free workshops to prepare for the fair, which will take place on 07.05 and 12.05. Registration will be possible on our website. 

From Heidelberg Main Station, you can take tram line 24 to the “Jahnstraße” stop. From there, you can easily reach the DKFZ on foot in about 5 minutes.

Alternatively, you can take bus lines 20 or 32 to the “Kirschnerstraße” stop, which is just a few meters away from the DKFZ main building.

Für die Messe selbst gibt es keinen Dresscode. Da du aber gegebenenfalls deinem neuen Arbeitgeber kennenlernen könntest, wäre Business Casual eine gute Option.  

At the Fair

At the fair itself there is a coffee bike and an ice-cream van where you can buy refreshments.

Please be at the workshop registration desk by the time indicated - ideally a few minutes earlier to avoid delays.

Am besten bringst du deine Bewerbungsunterlagen zur Jobmesse mit. Außerdem empfiehlt es sich, einen Zettel und einen Stift mitzunehmen, um sich Notizen über den Eindruck zu machen, den man von den Unternehmen gewonnen hat.

Falls vorhanden, kann es auch von Vorteil sein, Visitenkarten mitzubringen.

In addition to company exhibitors, we offer various workshops, CV checks, and application photos at the fair. Please note that you should register for these in advance.

In our fair catalog, you can find information on the number of job openings per year and whether trainee positions are available.

This year, more than 30 different companies will be represented.

There will be no cloakroom at the fair. Please note that BioContact e.V. is not responsible for lost or stolen personal belongings.

If you have any questions, you can always contact us at the Infostand, which is easy to find at the fair thanks to our BioContact logo. Additionally, we distribute the fair catalog at the entrance, containing all important information. The catalog is also available online on our website.

If you have registered for a workshop, please check in at our "Workshop Registration" stand at the main entrance no later than the specified time. From there, we will guide all participants to their workshop location.
